About the Brewery
Victory Brewing Company was founded in 1996 in Downingtown, Pennsylvania by Ron Barchet and Bill Covaleski — childhood friends who met on a school bus at age 10. After both pursuing brewing education in Germany and the United States, they returned to their Chester County roots to open a world-class brewery. Victory is celebrated for German-inspired lagers like Prima Pils and HopDevil IPA, as well as iconic Belgian-inspired offerings like Golden Monkey Belgian-style tripel. Now part of the joint Southern Tier/Victory partnership (Artisanal Brewing Ventures), Victory remains a cornerstone of Pennsylvania craft brewing.
